Clean, but yellowing with age, unused old b&w postcard, of POWIS CASTLE, home of the HERBERT and CLIVE families, (now National Trust-run property). This is probably an Edwardian view. Nowadays, most of remaining fortune of CLIVE OF INDIA is displayed in galleries in the castle. There are vast terraced gardens, tended and guided by FRIENDS OF POWIS CASTLE Group Volunteers. Printed on reverse; Park, Newtown , Mid-Wales, and PARK FOR PEOPLE series Given by friend to auction for charity.
