A pair of five- colour Imari fan-shaped mukozuke decorated in turquoise, green, yellow, iron-red and black enamels and underglaze blue with a design of the Three Friends within a scrolling karakusa border. Underglaze blue Artemisia leaf mark to the reverse. Max. width: 7 3/8 in. c. 1700.Perfect condition.An identical dish in the Shibata Collection is illustrated in Vol. 4 as no. 11 dated 1690-1730.
