Pair of Ornate Victorian Candlestick Lamp Bases Beautiful, pair of ornate lamp bases measure 12 1/2" high with a 5" x 5" footed base, and are in excellent condition. They appear to be a bronze casting with a gold paint wash. The base is embossed with an oval maker's mark which I can not decipher, though the craftsmanship and design is typical of early Bradley and Hubbard. The base is also marked o8, C 124. Motif includes corinthian columns, acanthus leaf cups, garland swags, and architectural forms supported by winged busts with scrolled feet. Truly a great find from a Pennsylvania estate!
