Pair of Orientalist watercolor paintings circa 1873- 1877. Early signature monogram of Edwin Lord Weeks, American 1849 -1902. Morocco, probably Tangiers. Studies of A Mosque and a Suq. Minarets, camel riders, laden donkey and ox and local villagers. In early hand carved frames with old mats and glass. Some damp staining to the mats. The art is clean except for a small spot of colored dust at the top of one corner with some dirt slightly rubbed in, hardly noticeable (please see photos). Images 9" x 12 ½". Frames 18½" x 13¾". Will ship domestically with or without frames and/ or glass. International shipping we will not send the glass. Buyer pays priority mail insured shipping, International by insured EMS only.
