Pr. Rare Archemide Seguso "Polveri" Lg. Bird Figures NR This is a beautiful pair of un-signed, but un-mistakably Archemide Seguso Polveri design. They measure 10 3/4" high to top of beak of tall one, and 10" from nose to tail of other one. They both have partial paper labels on their bases, " CASA DEL REGALO BORTOLI & VENEZIA*" who I think was the retailer in Italy w they were purchased in the 1960's. These are internally powder decorated with amethyst backs, and orange bellies with a dense gold flake interior. These are wonderful pieces of Seguso, and are both in excellent condition with no chips, or cracks. These are fairly rare to find, and rarer to find a matching pair. Buyer pays 12.00 insured shipping/handling within US. T is no reserve.
