PR HOLLYWOOD REGENCY TOLE FAUX BAMBOO CHINOISERIE WALL SCONCES! are a wonderful pair of vintage Wall sconces. When I say vintage, I mean chippy, shabby chic at its best. These have remnants of original paint that is a creamy white, many flecs or chipping leaving the exposed metal underneath. T is rust, but appears to be cleanable. I did not alter these at all, but wil leave that to the buyer's taste. These sconces are quite large and could easily be combined back to back for one fantastic chandelier. Each has a flat ring mount on the top for hanging. T are also two holes for mounting in the circular disc that hides the wiring at the bottom. These fixtures have a turn or rotary knob for cutting them on and off and are meant to be hard wired in. The wiring is old and I would have it checked or swap it out to be safe. Each sconce has two candelabra candles with leaved cups beneath each. Each socket has a gold-dripping plastic sleeve. These are great if you like the Hollywood Regency or oriental styles!!!! I collect a lot of tole pieces and these don't come around often. The design has the jointed bamboo pieces and even has three rings on each. These circles are pierced at the bottom- so you could add prisms better yet- bells! Measurements are approx. 19" from top ring mount to bottom. Approx. 16" at widest. Disc at the bottom that hides wiring is approx. 4 1/2" in diameter. Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer quickly. If you want to remove the paint and renew these, just ask. I am an artist and can tell you how this is done and it isn't as hard as you might think- quite easy. Many of the decorators that I work with love this Shabby Chic style and wouldn't dare remove the chipping or the rust. Adds character and the patina adds warmth!
