Offered are a pair of wonderful old wooden picture frames - complete with old prints. Each frame shows great detail with each corner highlighted by a 3 leaf design. The inner matting pieces are also wood and gold in color. Not sure if it is gold paint or gold leaf, but will say paint to be safe. Frame corners are not nailed - but rather notched and then glued in place. Backs are solid wood pieces and both have wires for hanging. Each frame has a piece of glass covering print and close examination reveals bubbles, etc. showing that this is original poured glass. Photo 4 shows a triangular shape in the glass that is NOT A CRACK but an original ripple in the glass. Frames measure 15 1/2" wide by 19 1/4" .

Both prints do show some damage - so I am selling these for the frames - NOT THE PRINTS. Print of young lad reads H. Hallett & Co. - 1830? Can't make out the last number. The print of the young lady is also marked - but very faint and hard to read. Right corner bottom missing on girl print - some stains noted on lad print. Still very usuable - but again - the frames are what I am selling these for - so the prints are simply a bonus and as is!

A fabulous pair of frames - so very hard to find matching sets. These are perfect for any Arts & Crafts Home or any room in your home. They are the most detailed I've ever seen, plus to have the original glass is certainly rare. Backs will need some additional securing to hold in place properly and you may want to redo wiring for hanging - but your choice. Have fun bidding!

Buyer to pay safe boxed priority shipping on 8 lbs. from zip code 23185. These are quite heavy due to wooden backs and glass - but well worth the cost of shipping. Thanks for looking.
