It was written by Rev J G Digges.It was published by The Talbot Press, Dublin.It was first published in 1904, this edition dates to 1943 and is the 10th Edition. It was a wartime publishing, and perhaps poignant to the time, one paragraph in the Preface reads " The Guide as it now appears will enable the beginner to make a success of his beekeeping from the very start, and also shows how honey production may be a very paying proposition." so very relevant for today's new beekeeper!The book is 312 pages incl. several wonderful adverts of the day!
