This prayerbook is 5" x 7" It has never been opened or used. It dates back to 1958, at least. Smoke free home. Its metal cover is silverish, with a gold looking Ten Commandments and Crown affixed to the cover. The crown has 3 stones; the 10 letters of the Ten Commandments are each surrounded by 2 stones plus the two Stars of David each have one too. The four reddish oval stones are perfectly set into the cover with a raised decorative trim around them.
T are 10 medallions around the border that are engraved and fabulous; tiny three quarter inch niched (labelled in Hebrew) depictions of Jerusalem, Star of David with flower inside (labelled Zion), Rachel's Tomb, Tzvat, Acco, Western Wall, Torah (with teeny tiny words that say "ke m'Tzion tasay Torah," Tower of David, Meron, Tiberias, each intersected by beautiful stylelized flowers which look as dynamic horizontally as vertically, as they are placed down the sides. Further, t are raised dots that continue around the outer and inner border. The Crown and Ten Commandments are likewise raised; most notably the ten Hebrew letters that represent the Commandments and the Crown, which holds the one center turquoise (?) stone that is double rimmed in gold.
The spine says "Siddur" (prayerbook) in Hebrew and is embellished with raised decorations near top and bottom.
The decoration on the back is slimmer, half inch across, except fot the corners which protrude. T are two Stars of David in the middle while the 8 other intersecting bars contain raised.knopfs. In the center are the Hebrew words, "Mizkeret Yerushalayim"
T is a colorful title page, pictured. T is a bit of tarnishing on the silver on the inside covers.
