Up for auction is a lot of twelve (12) Mississippian pottery sherds from the lower Wabash region of Illinois and Indiana. These pieces will date pre-1600 and are nice examples of the differing pottery styles exhibited by the Mississippian culture of this region. Some are rim pieces, others are various broken jars, salt pans, bowls, etc. Guaranteed authentic and legally collected over 30 years ago; these were personally found by me. Mississippian potttery sherds from this area in this size (note the 12 inch ruler in picture) and quality are getting hard to find, get them while you can. Check out my feedback and good luck bidding! Paypal payments ship out next day.
