is a early pre-1880 Tin Lantern in 100% complete working condition. The only identification I could find is on the wick adjustment wheel. It reads, ( J. Sangster, March 25th, 1862 patent ). I believe this to be American but could be wrong ? It is 16 1/2" tall including the handle, 11 1/2" without the handle. The globe is original, unbroken and 4" in diameter with the bottom base being 5 5/8" in diameter. No apologies other then a tiny bit of rust and paint loss. Good luck and please take a moment to check my other country antiques I have listed, thank you !!
