For your consideration, from a recent estate sale is a pre-1938 "Detroit City Gas Company" Employee Badge. The badge is 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/2", made of metal and has a makers mark on the back from the "Superior Seal & Stamp Company" Detroit, which started in 1930. The Detroit City Gas Company name was changed in 1938 to Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and at that time this employee was given a new badge with the new company name on it which I have listed next. The pin on the badge is bent and t is a cotter pin at one end which doesn't look original. Please take a moment to look at my feedback & bid with confidence. E-mail any questions.
