WELCOME TO SWISBEAGLE DOGHOUSE You are bidding on: One Lead Crystal Ice Bucket as is; which is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. It appears to have no chips, no cracks. T is a little tarnish spot on one side of the silver top, but that could be due to age, I don't know. It looks like it has never been used because the original tags are still on the bottom of the bucket on the inside. Two tags are stuck on the bottom and one tag is loose. The tags read; AH Bavaria Cristal au Plomb, 24% Pbo, Made is West Germany Expressly for Broadway, Tarnish Resistant, Silver Plated. One of the tags says how to clean it. The other day I was watching the movie, "The Audrey Hepburn Story" and I saw the same Ice Bucket on the movie set that I have, so I assume when it says Expressly for Broadway that they used them in the movies. It was neat to see the ice bucket on TV. When I did a search on this ice bucket it appears to be quite old pre-1950 and the French name of Cristal au Plomb comes up a lot. I have no knowledge of this item because I am not a collector of glass or crystal. It weighs 12 pounds. Buyer pays shipping and insurance if requested.
