BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 1CENT ACORN GUMBALL/VENDING MACHINE. THEMED WITH "COCA-COLA"!!! Machine has been stripped, sanded, primed and then powdercoated inside and out for a lasting and durable finish!! All the metal aluminum pieces were polished. Pinstripes and decals were then added. Extremely clean machine!!! It is from 1954 or older!!! Glass has some of the waviness of the older globes but is not cracked. Very minor chips on the rim that can not be seen unless you remove the globe. This has the holes for the smaller gumballs as was normal in those days. Mechanism works smoothly as does lock and key. Key says "Chicago Lock" on it. Extremely nice machine considering it is at least 60 years old! Don't let some of these other gumball machines you see on e-bay fool you. A lot of folks spray a little paint and add a couple decals and try to pass them off as restored. Most don't have the quality paint and work that this one has. Red and blue paint are metallic and white is pearl. Shows up well in the sunlight. I've added the " FLOATING GLASS COKE BOTTLE" for looks!!! Does add to the decor...
