22-inch chain including Egyptian beads with four 1-inch antique Chinese bone beads and a 1.5 x 1.5 inch antique Chinese bone pendant; hand-crafted by the late Laurel Burch working as Laurel San Francisco in the 1970s sometime before 1976; with original tag including hand-written description of the necklace; the previous owner was friends with Laurel Burch in the 1960s and 1970s and believes that the designer herself assembled this piece; the previous owner was among importers who went to China in the 1970s and bought antique Chinese Qing dynasty jewelry from the Chinese government: also in the mid 1970s, the designer Laurel Burch discovered Chinese Qing artifacts and began to incorporate them in her jewelry designs; s/h to be determined at time of sale
