PICK MY PICK Rescued 08-17-2012 from scrappersThis item is re-used, re-purposed or recycled treasure!! I will combine shipping if you purchase more than one item. This is a dump fresh U.S. Goverment License plate that is an older style. It was attached to a bumper of an old car being demolished when I began my rescue mission. My research shows that it was at least pre-2006 when government documents shows that the these plates were all replaced with the current version that is on the road today. Since the motor pool collected and turned them in for destruction they are few and far between. I only find one picture of this style in all my Google searches and that is in someones collection. My research also indicates based on the letter format of the plate that it issued to the Department of Interior. Only one other U.S. Government plate for sale here on eBay at the time I listed this and it is a newer version and sold for big money.
