This is a cool item. It is a Pre Columbian Human figure of a man. I believe it is a Mayan figure. He is in a seated position and is wearing a crown. It appears to be carved out of volcanic rock. Very primitive but accurate carving. It weighs 4 pounds 8 ozs. I haven't had time to research, but I believe this is a Deity figure of some sort. I have shown photos in both normal lighting and with flash, to give the best overall view. I believe this to be an authentic Pre Columbian artifact. It is very large in size and weight. The 1st photo is the most accurate. Size is 9 1/2" high by 7" long at the crown and head. It is 2 1/2" in width. Condition is very good overall. No major damage, but has overall wear, probably due to climate. Solid made and heavy for size, as stated. I believe this is Mayan and dates to 400-900 AD. I cannot guarantee the age, but I will offer a 3-day inspection period. I am that certain it is authentic. If you are not satisfied, I will offer a refund of the purchase price, but not the return shipping. I normally don't offer a return, but I beleive this is a period piece and feel you will be more than satisfied. The wood stand is included. This is a very fine artifact!
