A Pre-Columbian Olmec Mask Pendant which appears to be original and made of jade. The piece is approximately 4" high, 4 3/8" wide and about 3/4" in thickness at its widest point. T are two drill holes at the top for suspension, most probably as a pendant. The piece is in excellent condition with a crack probably original to the stone running from the left lower cheek through the mouth. The area of the crack is smooth to the touch and the crack does not affect the integrity of the piece. Purchased originally from a school administrator who traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Latin America. A nice early Olmec piece.
