Extremely rare, beautiful and in excellent condition Nazca vessel displaying a scanvenger bird (vulture) and a mutilated human leg. These depictions were very commun in Nazca iconography suggesting they practice human sacrifice. The Nazca civilisation flourished in the dry desert valleys of the Ica province, south of Lima in Peru from around 300 BC to 800 AD. Approximate height: 5 inches or 14cms.
