THIS IS A WONDERFUL ANCIENT PIECE!! We are offering this exquisite piece for your consideration. It was bought at auction from ARTE PRIMITIVO in NYC. It is an ancient Veracruz pre-columbian terracotta figure circa 600-900 A.D. This exceptional hollow molded pottery head from a figure depicted smiling and wearing a ridged headdress and ear ornaments. Surface weathering, a 1-1/2" restored hole in the center of the headdress and a missing tip of the right earring. This fine antiquity would make a great addition to any collection and will certainly make the winner happy. AGE / DATE 600-900 A.D. DIMENSIONS Measuring approximately 6 1/2 inches in height CONDITION Probably broken off a large figure. REPAIRS / RESTORATIONS 1-1/2 restored hole in the center of the headdress, missing tip of the right earring.
