DESCRIPTION: 's a great example of a Tim West briar pipe from the 80's. The quality is a very good up & down grain and a smooth Red Bruyere surface quality in a striking European Dublin canted shape. It's made from Grecian briar wood. The stem is Italian Vulcanite. This is a pipe designed by James Vieth. Jim was a good friend and professional Pipe Smoker. He loved designing his ultimate set of pipes which took him thru a process over a span of 20 years to finally settle with a perfect 7 day set. This is his Briton or Dublin from his average size pipes. The nickel band is for strength and cosmetic purposes only. The shank is not cracked.
