Here is an original pre-World War I, 3 3/8 inch, six point star badge from the Memphis, Tenn. police dept. It is full nickel with brass number that has been professionally chrome plated. This was common that the officers had their nickel badges plated so they didn't have to polish them so often. Very clear Hanson maker's mark. There is some minor, pre-plating wear to the bottom of the city seal. Otherwise in excellent condition. CONTACT THE SELLER IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
