1941 Pre War, Metal Body Model 302 Totally refurbished inside & out, Working as good as it did 67 years ago. All the dates match to April of 1941. Capacitor, Ringer, Induction coil, Number plate, Base & Dial. Professionally refinished using a durable & attractive Acrylic Lacquer. WEco #5 dial has been serviced & cleaned, sounds more like a #4 dial the way it clicks when you dial out on it, it's nice. Porcelain number plate with the Z above operator is in excellent shape with no more than 10% wear. New Reproduction brown cloth cords are as close to originals as you can get. The 4 pads on bottom have new suede leather covers too. The dates stamped on bottom are from when it went back to the factory 1946 & again in 1954 to be checked out and serviced before being re-issued to a new subscriber. Back then you couldnt buy your phone from Bell, you had to lease it from them & they were responsible for the upkeep, thats also why they're still around with alot of their original components. they were built to last. Everything works as it should, it rings & dials, the reception is great. All around great antique Art Deco telephone thats ready to plug in & start using. Actual shipping charges from 75165.
