This item is a Rare Vintage Randall Faichney Made in Boston U.S.A. in 1900 Military Syringe Needle Field Case and it comes to you in excellent condition. No rust! No tarnish! Nothing broken! Works perfect! Extremely old and extremely clean! This rare pocket size piece of militaria measures 3 3/4" x 2 3/8" and it is clearly stamp marked on side of syringe case, "MILITARY Pat. May 22, 1900 The Randall Faichney Co. Boston U.S.A.". It appears to be made of nickel silver. Although it can house up to six needle cases and 12 needles, it comes to you with one needle case assembly and two needles. It also comes to you complete with a spring loaded syringe assembly (see photos). Although these items were multi-purpose, I am told their primary function was to administer morphine to wounded troops in the field during battle. Simply a great piece of American military history. Also, see my other listings for more interesting vintage items. Bid with confidence! This is a guaranteed authentic piece of U.S. Medical Militaria in fantastic condition.
