Prehistoric Anasazi bowl white on red A.D. 1400 ceramic pottery. Very nice prehistoric Anasazi bowl, with great form. The bowl is glued, no filler, no paint touch up. It is very complete. Very nice form, the rim is recessed creating a bulging form. This bowl is very similar to the late Zuni kwakina polychrome vessels. Notice the fine white kaolin line work on the exterior. T is a white ring on the exterior that may be a water mark, but it really looks like pigment. This bowl was made with the coil and scrape technique. The bowl measures 7 1/4 inches across and it is 3 1/2 inches deep. T is no paint touch-up. No restoration, except that it has been glued together. The glue is an acetone based bonding agent, easy to take apart and restore. Remember, you have a full money back guarantee, if t is anything you don't like about the piece, just return it, no problem, no questions, no hassles.
