Prehistoric Hohokam Pottery Ladle with Horned Toad Design. This ladle is from the Samuel Schupp collection . Mr. Schupp collected on private land near Mesa, Az. in the 1950's and 60's. The ladle measures 9.75" long x 4.75" in diameter x 2.25" deep. It features a hanging hole in the handle and a black horned toad design in the bowl . A collector who viewed the ladle thinks it is about 1/3 restored, but since we are not experts on Prehistoric Pottery, it is being sold as-is . A letter with provenance from Schupp's son is included.
