For auction is a Premier Signia 14 x 7 snare drum from approx 1991. Thin maple shells with reinforcing rings, made by Premier in the UK factory. Beautiful ebony (piano black) lacquer Condition This drum is in excellent condition for the year – the badge is near perfect (they often mottle), shell is in excellent condition as is the chrome hardware, just some occasional pitting on the horizontal face of the top rim. Interior of shell is immaculate. Snare and mechanism all good condition and fully functioning. Premier resonant head, well used Evans HDD batter (not the one in the picture). I’m no expert but I’d give this drum a 9-9.5 /10 rating for a piece of kit over 20 years old Pedigree If you’ve read this far you know what you’re looking at. I won’t restate all the excellent reviews that these drums get- checkout the forums. Do not get confused with the latest versions of Premier drums – this is the TOP OF THE RANGE series from the days when Premier were at their peak.
