We are lucky to have an incredibly vibrant color of rose quartz ranging from pinks to reds to burgundy. These colors are caused both by the presence of non-crystalline rutile as well as titanium. Rose quartz has been valued since ancient times for its believed ability to attribute the properties of unconditional love and emotional healing. Nowadays, many married couples even use a premium piece of rose quartz in their wedding ceremony in some way. In addition to South Dakota , less luminous specimens can be found in Colorado , California and in parts of Maine . In metaphysics, rose quartz is believed to stimulate the heart chakra, and create deep connections between two people. It fills one with the euphoria of a true loving environment.
