Beautiful Presentation Pocket Surgery Set with exquisite solid silver hand-engraved Presentation Plaque attached to front flap. The set itself is by W.F. Ford, sold by Caswell Hazard, NY., and is complete as found. The wonderful silver presentation plaque reads, "Presented to C.H. Hofmann, M.D., House Physician, Homeopathic Hospital, by the Committee of Public Charities & Corrections, Townsend Cox, Jacob Hess, Thomas S. Brennan, April 1st, 1880". Wonderful historical piece well worth researching!
