President George W. Bush & First Lady Laura Bush Farewell Card

Collectors are looking at a one of a kind piece. This piece hasn't yet been seen on Ebay. I know t aren't going to be many of these Farewell Cards as they aren't given to everyone and are not for sale anyw The card, as seen in the photo, is opened up. It has a very nice photo of the Former President and First Lady standing in the Rose Garden with the Oval Office Colonnade in the background.

The statement on the card reads, "During our years in the White House, we have seen the strength of the American people. The Nation has met great challenges with remarkable courage and compassion. We have been sustained by your prayers and encouragement these past eight years. Thank you for your support and your trust. Let us resolve to continue our work toward the ideals that make America strong. This is our 'charge to keep' as citizens of teh country we cherish. May God bless you, and may God bless America."

The card has a facsimile autograph of George W. Bush and Laura Bush.

When closed the front cover of the card has a beautiful raised impression of the North Side of the White House. I couldn't photo the cover as it is all white and would not show up on the photo. T is no official White House envelope. However, this beautiful piece would look wonderful framed.
