You are bidding on both documents. Both are to the same person or family - Kittil Kittilsen from Dane County, Wisconsin. (T is some info related to this early Scandanavian family that immigrated to Wis on google) One is a United States Of America Land Grant signed by Zachary Taylor as President. Dated Aug 1, 1849 with nice signature of Taylor. This is a Zachary Taylor signature and not a secretarial signature. On parchment paper the document has been folded and t is an extremely minor tear at bottom right (app 1/4") that is in the corner and does not affect anything. The Presidential seal is relatively nice and intact and believe the condition is good overall. The writing on document is still relatively bold and everything can be easily read. Nice display document measures app 16" x 10" and has nice signature of Zachary Taylor as President. A very light crease mark from top to bottom touches the "Taylor" near the r at the end. When the document is flat it doesn't affect the signature and pen writing is clear on the crease. Other document is also a land grant from Dane County, Wisconsin and is NOT signed by the President but is to the same person and nice document to accompany the other. Dated 19th of February 1852 and has been folded and has a very minor tear on left edge at fold mark. I would also rate this document good overall. I recently sold a similar land grant signed by Z Taylor on eBay and received positive feedback. This is the last document that I have signed by Taylor. (I recently sold a Pres John Tyler signed land grant with positive feedback also) Shipped flat in cardboard and not folded buyer pays $8.00 USPS shipping in cont US and I will provide free insurance for the purchased amount.
