Unique collection of vintage presidential election campaign buttons collected and displayed on an old tie. 29 buttons in all with one Red Cross Button and one USO button. Buttons with an * preceding them are printed or embossed on the back. If you would like to know the exact words or get a photo of the back side of any button or a better photo of any button you are especially interested in please let me know and I will get it to you. All buttons show some wear or use, they are not mint but are in good condition, some with scratches, some with just plain old age showing.

I was asked about staining, there is in the last photo visible behind the name Phil. It is about 1-1/4" long, you can see in the photo where it ends on the back of the button then there is a small brown dot of it and thats it. It is visible from the edge but does not go towards the front of the button as it is just along the very back edge. This does not show from the front, only from the edge view and back. Also of note and visible is the worn paint on the rear of the inner piece of the button. I'm assuming these buttons were worn many times for different campaign functions. The front is in remarkably good shape with only minor surface scuffing. There is a very short 1/32nd of an inch scratch and two dots that you can feel with your nail and you have to have good light to see any of them. Also this auction is going through to the end without any buy it now or early ending. I appreciate the interest in this auction and thank each person interested in it.
