I just bought this gorgeous rug at an estate sale. Unfortunately, when I got it home it didn't fit w I wanted to use it. This is a vintage hand-woven rug, made in Greece. The back of the rug has a label sewn in that reads: National Welfare Organization - Athens - Hand Made in Greece. Nice creamy-beige background with an intricate, stylized floral design in shades of rust, blue, green, gold and brown. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. In wonderful undamaged condition with a few stains on the underside matting but the surface of the rug itself is very clean with no stains, discloration, or damage of any kind. Good heavy, sturdy woven rug weighing almost 10 pounds. Approx. 4 feet wide and 6 feet long. This is a very special piece that would add beauty to any room.
