Over the coming months I will be selling an amazing (and very large) collection from a TCA member who passed away in 1976 - the entire collection has been packed away in closets since then. I am working with his family to get these trains to new homes and will be listing a lot of very impressive Lionel postwar, prewar, O gauge, standard gauge, tinplate, Ives, American Flyer, and a large number of accessories. Please bookmark my auctions as I will be adding a number of pieces hopefully by the end of this week. This was a very advanced collector and many of his trains were in superb condition. Here's a good representative example of the orange/green 513 cattle car. This one's all original and has never been messed with, so it shows its share of play scratches and wear, but it's too good to restore in my opinion. This would make a great layout piece and it will clean up nicer than shown here - a bit of wax would do it a world of good. No major problems to speak of, just a good all around original version of this car to make your freight train a little longer. SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS THIS WEEK FOR MORE 513 CATTLE CARS! Ready for display or layout use. NO RESERVE! ALL SALES FINAL, PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR AUCTION UNTIL YOU ARE INVOICED FOR THIS ITEM. Buyer agrees to pay for priority mail USPS postage, WILL SHIP TO UNITED STATES ADDRESS ONLY! ALL LOCOMOTIVES ARE SOLD AS IS! THESE ARE ANTIQUE ELECTRICAL TOYS AND THUS I CANNOT OFFER ANY WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES, ALL I CAN DO IS TELL YOU AS MUCH ABOUT THEM AS I CAN. I WILL DO MY UTMOST TO DESCRIBE THESE ITEMS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY AND HAVE COLLECTED TRAINS MOST OF MY LIFE. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE, I'M TCA #02-54098. Thanks much, God bless, and please see my other auctions!
