Jane Austen – Pride and Prejudice, Sense And Sensibility, Mansfield Park, and Persuasion. London, Edinburgh, New York: Thomas Nelson and Sons: New Century Library. Undated. Circa 1903. Illustrated. SCARCE This is a leather bound set of Austen’s works. Four novels are bound into two volumes. FEATURES Full Leather Binding Frontispiece illustration in each volume Top Edge Gilded Silk Ribbon Bookmark in each volume Gilt lettering and decoration on spines The books are in Fair condition. T is wear on the spines and covers. T is a written inscription in each volume on the front endpaper and the title page, undated, but looks to be early 1900's Soft leather cover has slight at edges and gilt lettered spine is faded from a plum color to a tan shade. Inside front and back covers have pinkish marbling, binding is fair and pages are clean/unmarred. Place holding ribbon has worn away. One black and white illustration at front. Printed for the New Century Library. Binding is LEATHER BOUND RED. 229 pp. , and 432 pages. 5X6 Sense and Sensibility cover is separated from spine. No reserve. Free Shipping.
