Album Good evening! Thanks for stopping by! I have listed this evening a very folky Uncle Sam. Don't let the pics fool you he is not this bright in person! He will come signed and dated as an original Â©2008. He will stand 22" and 25" with his hat.Sam is made out of stained osnaburg. His nose is sculpted with his eyes and lips painted in acrylics and watercolors. His long beard, eyebrows, and hair are lightly stained roving wool that have been needle felted into place. His shirt is a stained navy star print with the hems being stitched in red floss.His trousers are made of navy blue wool. The suspenders are a red wool that have been attached with rusty bells to his trousers.His boots have been painted black too.He wears a aged paper hat. This is stained cardstock that has been aged then painted in watercolors. His hat is pinned to his head. He also holds in his left hand a banner that is made out of aged paper that reads U.S.A It is attached to rusty wire with a rusty bell and aged chennille. what a great Americana piece to add to your collection! I will be adding more items in the next couple of days so stop back!
