This auction is for a primitive wood crate with a copper pipe handle & nine pharmaceutical bottles. The crate has twelve compartments to house pharmaceutical bottles. T are nine numbered bottles with nine matching numbered glass stoppers. Seven of the bottles are in great shape. Two are not perfect. The stoppers in number 118 & 120 are stuck. Number 120 also has a vertical crack on the neck. All stoppers and seven bottles are in great shape. The crate appears to be handmade, especially with the copper pipe handle that's been hammered flat at the ends. This is a really unique and interesting primitive set that would make a great addition to an apothecary, pharmaceutical or antique collection. The wooden crate is 11 1/4" deep x 6" high x 14 1/2" wide. The bottles are 5 1/2 " high (not including stoppers) and 2 1/2" wide. The stoppers are 2 1/4" long. The bottles are numbered 42, 47, 108, 110, 112, 115, 118, 119, & 120. The bottom of each bottle says TCW Co USA . The center of the bottom of each bottle has one of four numbers either 1, 2, 3, or 4.
