This is a lovely Primitive Blacksmith Hand Forged Large Double Hook in Excellent Condition. The hook is painted black and absolutely gorgeous. It measures 7" high by 8" across at its widest part which is about 1" below the point of each hook. The overall design of the double hook is 3-dimensional with the 2 hooks curving outward and upward to form a different plane than the long flat shank in the back. The shank has an incised design in front featuring small "o"s and large "X''s and t is an open loop for hanging at the top which has a small rat-tail ending . The 2 hooks themselves are nicely curved with pointed tips. This is truly a lovely Primitive Blacksmith Hand Forged Large Double Hook perfect for hanging from a hearth or in the kitchen for utensils beautifully enhancing any display.
