I SO wish you could see this in person! LOVE IT! Photos are showing more gray than black, it does have drab gray tones, but its true color is dry black with barn red chippyness and dirty buttermilk lettering! Very rare to find a piece this old looking with the word BREAD on it! This was a fun farm find that we aged up to make a cool early bread box! Original side handles and metal front closure. True dove tail sides. Nail repairs. Cracks, wear and aged! This is perfectly imperfect folks! Measures a nice size of 21.5 inches long by 9 1/4 inches deep by 6 1/4 tall.
