EARLY FARMHOUSE Wood Tote and UTENSILS This is a FANTASTIC gathering full of antique and vintage items. Please be sure and view all the pictures to see the details. This beautiful wooden oak tote is so nice! I love the high sides and the individual slats. The carrying handle and 3 front slats are missing but that left room for much better visibility of all the goodies inside. I accented it with a tie made from blue ticking fabric. The tote is approx. 12" tall, 9" wide and 5 1/2" deep. On the inside I tucked a faded tea towel in an old fashion blue color and design to the back and side. I then placed an antique muffin pan in the back and surrounded it with an old slotted spoon with wooden handle, several vintage wooden utensils, a small pie pan with a neat patina, a small wire bail canning jar with a reproduction antique label and a jointed pair of grubby candles. Off to the side of the crate, I placed a fairly new grater that has been "aged" and added to it a reproduction antique label that was fused to a piece of frayed homespun and wired on the front. To finish everything off and add some contrast, I placed a nice spray of sweet annie and navy pip berries tied with cheesecloth in the front.
