Shipping may cost a little more but in the end it is a good thing for both of us.Really nice volcanic flow pattern in stone.This primitive mountain man #3, with special flow pattern, black flint blade is hand knapped from banded flowing black obsidian and measures 5 1/2 " (exposed) blade, and the handle is 5 1/2 " made from deer antler, rosette end. Blade is 1 1/2" wide and has a deep black color flow bands throughout from base to tip (this flow band pattern is not easy to find and why the price is a little higher). The cutting edge is a zig zag pattern. The backbone of the blade is nice and thick. Overall length is 11". The knife is hafted by traditional means using sheep gut hafting and animal hide glue mixed with bone dust and other natural trade secret materials (rock solid). The knife is 100% hand made with primitive techniques and methods. The sheath is also handmade to fit knife and it is medium tan 8 oz (thick) Argentine leather with a leather lace tip guard for added protection.
