Welcome to My Attic ~Primitives~ ~Primitive~ Folk Art Christmas Doll Hi and thanks for stopping by! This Beautiful lady measures 21 inches tall. She has been lovingly hand-made from heavily stained muslin that has been painted, baked and distressed for that wonderful days of old look! She has a needle-sculpted nose. Her beautiful blue eyes and mouth were drawn on and sealed to prevent fading. I added a little shading around the eyes & nose for depth. Blush was added to her cheeks for nice rosy color. And...check out those very sweet needle sculpted toes! Her nails are a brownish red color. I sealed each nail to prevent any fading and shaded around the toes to give addtional depth. Her dress is made from a wonderful Christmas Plaid silky fabric. I stitched Rusty Bells across her neckline. Her hair is made from raw mohair and was needle-felted to cover her entire head. I braided the ends and then added ribbons from fabric scraps that match her dress. She is holding a bundle of wonderful smelling dried Sweet Annie. I attached a ribbon matching her dress around the ends. She has a loop attached to the back of her head so she can be hung if you choose. I just Love the way she turned out! Her little face is so Beautiful! This prim folk art doll is an original piece from My Attic ~Primitives~.
