Welcome to My Attic ~Primitives~ ~Primitive~ Folk Art Christmas Princess Doll Hi and thanks for stopping by! This Beautiful lady measures 21 inches tall. She has been lovingly hand-made from heavily stained muslin that has been baked and distressed for that wonderful days of old look! She has a needle-sculpted nose. Her beautiful blue eyes and mouth were drawn on and sealed to prevent fading. I added a little shading around the eyes & nose for depth. Blush was added to her cheeks for nice rosy color. Her dress is made from a cotton Christmas fabric. It has beautiful red poinsettias on a navy background. The fabric was pre-washed and then given a good soakin' in coffee and hung on the line to dry. Rusty Bells were stitched on each shoulder. The neckline was trimmed out in old Stained Lace. Perched on her shoulder is a very tiny little Red Cardinal! So Sweet! Her hair is made from raw sheep's wool. This wool has very tight curls. It was very difficult to remove every spec of veggie matter, but it just adds to her Primness! The hair was needle-felted around the frame of her face. She wears a sparkly crown studded with little fauz pearls. The crown was stitched securely to her head. Her crown is actually a Christmas Ornament! Her Red Boots are painted on. She has a small metal ring attached to the back of her head so she can be hung if you choose. I just Love the way she turned out! Her little face is just Beautiful! This prim folk art doll is an original piece from My Attic ~Primitives~.
