This Fabulous Black Americana Holiday Set was created by Primitive Folk Artist Patricia Rademacher aka Frayed Muslin. First of all, let me say that the American Flag is VINTAGE. This wonderful piece of history has ONLY ~49~ stars. The flag is in delicate condition and MUST be treated with GENTLE KINDNESS and HEARTFELT RESPECT! I used a ragged piece of osnaburg to reinforce the area of the flag that attaches to the stick. Before falling in love with Santa and his family, please know that this is a large set...ok...now that you know...go ahead and fall in love!!! ALSO, more about the flag as I go along!! Santa is 39" tall, his head is 21" round. Mrs.Claus is 28" tall, her head is 8" long and 14" around (I tell the size of their round heads to give a better perpestive regarding size) Lady Liberty Doll is 20" tall. The stocking is 16 1/2" long and with the Lady neatly tucked inside of the stocking, the height is 26". NO GLUE was used in the making of this set, that in and of it self is a DAUNTING task! Mrs. Claus has the MOST expressive face! Her eye lids are added on and her eyes are drawn on. Her nose and fingers are sculpted and her kissable lips were added on seperately. She is made of painted, antiqued muslin. Her cloths are a combination of Americana prints. The trim is distressed, antiqued sherpa fur. Every bit of fur is wrapped
