AN ANGEL FOR FALL OR YEAR AROUND. BEAUTIFUL GOLD AND BROWN TONES.. SHE CAN SIT OR HANG ON THE WALL. This Fall colored angel is 28 inches in length, made from muslin fabric, has been aged and is hand painted. Her hair is fly away Tibetan wool that has been dyed a reddish brown. Her face has a 3-D effect as the nose has been needle stitched and shaded and her eye lids have been hand sewn on. She is what is termed as a stump doll as she has no legs but looks beautiful whether she is hanging on the wall or draped sitting in a chair. Her coat is made from a pale golden yellow wool felt. I have sewn 3 buttons down the front of the coat and have added a metal heart to the coat which says, love. Her skirt is made from top of the line quilt shop materials which are gold tones with pin stripes edged with a brown fabric which matches her apron. Her apron is made from a brown type of homespun, I have appliqued crows and a sunflower to the apron. The applique process takes MUCH time as you have to cut little pieces of different material out then put them together like a puzzle till they create the crow and sunflower effect and then the pieces are hand stitched on together. She also comes with a star which I have added an old vintage button to and last but not least her wings have been machine quilted in brown tones to match the over all
