This is just an absolutely, wonderful, one of a kind, original Santa from an EBay doll maker that is well known to many of us Santa collectors. I have many of her wonderful dolls and am gently down sizing some of my Santa collection. This is one of her earlier dolls and very valuable since her style has changed over the years. This unique, original Santa is handmade by Rene's Rags. She used an old cutter quilt for his coat and a vintage feedsack for his toy bag. He stands 18" tall and is attached to a wood candlestick. His quilt coat is done in reds, mauve and a light blue. His beautiful face is hand-stitched. His beard and hair are real sheeps wool and have also been stitched on. His coat is trimmed with quilt batting and is hand-stitched. His toy bag holds a small Raggedy Ann doll with a hand-stitched face and sewn wool hair. The artist has stitched TOYS on his bag and also added some greenery, candy canes and a bear. His bag can be removed if you want. His belt is jute with two rusty bells tied on. He also has a rusty bell sewn on his hood. This is truly a one-of-a-kind Santa and he comes signed and dated by Linda Rene of Rene's Rags.
