Welcome to Gooseberry Creek Designs! All of our houses are designed and handmade by the artists here at Gooseberry Creek. Today we are featuring one of our new Village pieces. We will be adding several lighted houses to this set. This is the Stone Farmhouse!! The handcarved stone work just sets it off! We can do this in other colors if you would like. The colors available are: mustard, burgundy(as shown), dark green, dark blue, worn white, antique green, sage, pale yellow and taupe. This adorable Farmhouse started out as a smooth piece of wood and handcarved into this beautiful piece. As you notice, the front of the house features lots of handcarved stone. We carve it and then use 3 - 4 colors to paint the detailed stone finish. It just adds so much character and rustic charm to this piece. The rest of the piece is painted a gorgeous warm burgundy with a worn black roof. We also decorated the front with some mini's....which includes a shaker bench, churn, milkcan and rusty shovel! The Farmhouse measures 13 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The lights and bulbs come with it so, it is ready to light up and enjoy the minute you get it. I love how the light just streams through the screen door! It would look wonderful on your mantle, on a kitchen cabinet or to light up a dark corner. We will also be adding more and more read more
