This is my newest cat doll, and she is a cutie pie! She is grungy and very very Prim. She is made from muslin that has been painted, grunged, and sanded. Her nose and mouth are pinch stitched and she has wonderful yellow cat eyes. The tips of her ears are grungy white and she has a precious expression on her face! She is wearing a very very EXTREME long gown of blue/green plaid that like her, has been grunged and sanded. She is a very tall doll and measures about 37 inches long and with her tail held in her hand, about 23 inches wide. She has whittled wood sticks for hands(paws) and legs. She has a reversable and removeable cape tied with blue strips of fabric. The cape is the same blue/plaid fabic as her gown and the reverse side is deep blue. She is wearing a grungy white cotton apron with a lace insert, the apron ties in front with a strip of the blue/green plaid fabric. In one hand she holds her very long "hurt" tail...the tails "owie" is bandaged with grungy red/white fabric tied around the "owie". The tail is actually rusty pinned to her hand and also has a rusty bell attached to the pin also. In her other arm, she carries a very prim feather tree that has a rusty bell rusty pinned to the tree, her arm is also rusty pinned to her dress so she can hold the prim tree in the cradle of her arm. She also has an 'owie" on one of her legs, that is also 'bandaged" with the same red/white grungy plaid fabric. This is a really really neat cat..and only the second cat doll I have ever made, (see the other cat-doll by clicking on sellers other items). She is sweet and adorable and looks super hanging with her long long legs and her extremely long tail out to her side. She can also sit with help, but is much more comfortable hanging from the rusty safety pin on her back. Due to the overall size and often extreme length of cat, I will have to carefully fold her to fit into the Priority Mail shipping box. I never use tape measures except to measure the item when I am done...and patterns..heavens no, I just wing it and sometimes change it as I am cutting it out. Most of my dolls have cinnamon used during their creation, and it is possible that the cinnamon may still be a bit "dusty" and especially noticable if you were to shake the doll.
