Thanks so much for taking a minute to stop by my auction- I really appreciate it and I hope you will find something you just can't do without... Like this fabulous Halloween Annie and her little black kitty cat. This is a wonderfully whimsical set with lots of primitive details and charm. Annie is 27 inches tall, from the tip of her party hat to the bottom of handpainted and rusty wire buckeled slippers. She is made from aged muslin using a wonderful pattern from Back Porch Pickins. Her eyes and nose are hand painted and shaded with pencil that has been sealed for added protection and her eyelids are seperately attached with lot of tiny stitches. Her sweet little smile is hand stitched as well and her rusty red braids are fashioned from spun wool that I have wired to make them fully posable. Annie's dress is made from one of my favorite black and white print fabrics that has been trimmed in hand gatd orange ruffles with black ric-rac. She has matching ric-rac trimmed orange pantaloons and a fancy little pendant that adorns her chest.
