Album Good evening all! Thanks for stopping by! I have listed another wonderful stocking this evening this one has a Uncle Sam. The entire piece will come signed and dated Â©2008. The stocking itself will measure 20". It has been made out of a stained navy blue with stars fabric. The cuff is stained osnaburg and it has been stitched on. I made a banner out of osnaburg and a red/star stained fabric. I stamped the phrase "LAND OF THE FREE" on it and then sewn it to the stocking with rusty bells.I made a flag out of stained patriotic fabrics and attched itto a stick and t is also a star with a "U S A " banner down it. Now inside is Uncle Sam. He will stand from hat to toe 21" He has been made out of stained muslin. His nose is sculpted and his eyes and lips have been drawn and painted. His eyebrows, beard, and forelock are stained and have been needle felted into place.His pants are made out of stained blue and white pinstripe fabric.His shirt is a stained red/star fabric. The hems have been hand stitched too. I gave him a stained blue wool vest. His hat is also made out of stained patriotic fabrics and it too has been stitched to his head. Hang this piece out all year round and you can also display Sam out by himself.Again thanks so much for comming by again! Don't forget my other auctions!
